David Tvildiani Medical University

“AIETI” Medical School is a branch of David Tvildiani Medical University. Its mission is to provide scientifically-oriented Higher Medical Education based on the best International experience. AIETI Medical School is the first non-governmental highest educational Medical Institution in Georgia established by Academician David Tvildiani and Dr. Dimitri Tvildiani in 1989. After developing Residency, PHD and Doctorate programs and adding the Nursing School, AIETI Medical School has been upgraded by the National Authorization Council to the status of an University and from 2011 is named after its founder and the first rector as “David Tvildiani Medical University”. AIETI Medical School Has been recognized by the WHO (World Health Organization) and listed in “ World Directory of Medical Schools” in 1995. Shortly after that, it’s diploma hasbeen verified and authorized by the Medical Examination Committees of the USA, different countries of Europe and Asia. Our Requirement

To get Admission at the David Tvildiani Medical University (DTMU) simply fill the Application form or send all the required documents to dtmu@admissionoffice.ge. List of the required documents: Copy of the passport; High School Certificate or BA degree Diploma (for MA degree applicants) along with transcript; Application fee payment receipt. Video Interview (Contact us for sample) Application Status: After submission, within the 7 working days of fulfilling the application requirements, you will get an official offer letter from the David Tvildiani Medical University. On the basis of the signed offer letter, Admission office will start enrollment procedure. Translation, notarization, recognition and enrollment procedures take approximately 2 – 4 weeks. DTMU has no deadline for admission. However, the University has two intakes. Students can get admission to either join Fall Academic Session (September batch) or the Spring Academic Session (February/March batch).

Enrollment Process

Once the invited applicant sends the personal identification and educational documentation to the University of Georgia, the documents will be submitted to the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement and to the Ministry of Education and Science to obtain the Ministry enrollment. As soon as the enrollment procedure will be successfully completed, the University will inform the applicant of his successful enrollment to study in Georgia.

Visa and Immigration

As soon as the enrolment procedure will be successfully completed, UG will send you an official invitation letters which – together with other documents – will be required for the applicant to apply for studying VISA to the closest Georgian Embassy.

Career Services: Career development of students and graduates is the main concern of the office of student employment support of the university of Georgia Tbilisi. International students can apply for a space in Ivane Javakhashvili Tbilisi State University’s hostel after gaining admission to study in the university.
